I had the pleasure of photographing some good friends of mine's engagement last week amidst the terrible flooding in Houston. It's easy to photograph a couple, when they are this much in love.
I asked Aaron when he knew Courtney was the one, here is his story:
"Courtney and I have known each other since high-school. We quickly clicked and became best friends; we continued this friendship over time and we just kept getting closer. I invited her to my parents house for New Year's Eve our junior year in high-school, before midnight we climbed the rooftop of my house and shared a kiss under the fireworks.. and I know it sounds naive and cliche but at that moment, I knew that I was in love with my best friend and that I didn't want to be with anyone else. I am very fortunate to have found Courtney so early on, she is a rare combination of unconditional love, beauty, and ambition. She pushes me to be a better person, future husband and father and I'm very proud and lucky to call her my high-school sweetheart and future wife."
Oh my goodness. I am in love with these two and I'm beyond happy for them, they were made for one another.
