Downtown San Diego

I ended up trading Nada my very first camera for a plane ticket to California, it's in very loving hands. I can't wait to see what kind of photographer Nada grows into, she's got such a unique eye!

In June of 2015 I went to San Diego, California to visit my friend Nada, we had a rough start to the trip with her car breaking down, but her gracious mother let us borrow hers.

We ended up seeing downtown San Diego, Las Vegas, Ventura, Yosemite National Park, San Francisco and Los Angeles. We spent a lot of time on the road, meeting up with old pals that we had met summer of 2014 and going on a camping trip.

The first day we went to downtown San Diego and La Jolla Cove.

this little guy knew how to strike a pose.

the beach however, smelt terrible because of these little guys.

AT LEAST, Nada's car broke down after our adventures downtown and to the cove...

We then set out our trek to Las Vegas, which was almost a 6 hour drive from San Diego. We are still alive and friends, so the road trip went well.

Her dad ended up taking us to an aquarium on the first night, so it was a good day in Vegas.

And then, we hiked ice box canyon, which I'm assuming they get their name from the ginormous boulders we had to climb.

my Langly Camera Bag came in very handy this trip.

After the hike.

 Ventura, California

We then made another road trip to Ventura, to see our perfect pals, Magaly and Bianca. We then, all made another roadtrip towards Yosemite to camp for two nights, which clearly was not enough!

somewhere in the middle of nowhere on our way to Yosemite.

us pitching a tent for the first time. :p

and on our way back to Ventura, we made a pit stop in San Francisco. Except it was way too cloudy to see the bridge. -__-

highway 1 on our way to L.A.

shooting film on my canon Ae-1 and getting it developed for only $7.00 in San Diego was AWESOME.

I got stranded an extra day in San Diego because Spirit Airlines is the absolute worst, but Nada's little sister took us to this cool little place by their house, Adobe Falls.

baby, I write because you exist

iphone photos of my last day in California, we got to watch the sunset over California AND Mexico!

I am so grateful for this life that I am living because I have met some amazing people and I have gotten to see some beautiful things.
