Charlie + Courtney Golonka

On March 28, 2015 I got to witness two people becoming one.
I was overjoyed I got to document the coming together of these two. I had been working with them for over a year now and they were actually my very first clients ever, so they hold a dear place in my heart.

So.. I asked Charlie when he knew Courtney was the one and this is his story:

"The first time I knew I wanted to spend forever with Courtney was when we decided to move in together after only dating for four months, she was moving out of her moms house and asked me to come live with her. Of course I said yes, I could never say no to her, it's like her big brown eyes just had control over my whole body. I would always stumble over my words and my own two feet when around her. She gave me these butterflies in my stomach that are still here til this day, she makes me feel like anything I do, I can always accomplish. Marrying her was the best decision I have ever made and I can't wait to spend forever with her, she's my world."

we started the morning of the big wedding by capturing portraits of the most beautiful bride.

seriously this boho look was one for the books. I am in love with how she put everything together.

and then I arrived to the groom's dad's home. everything was still coming together but everyone was so kind and inviting. i'm getting way too spoiled documenting weddings with such awesome people.

it was a backyard wedding and as you can see sunflowers and traveling was the central theme. (which i totally drooled because sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers.)

Courtney and Charlie plan on seeing the world together. They had a globe guestbook and the cutest wedding cake.

This houston themed cake was the groom's cake. Absolutely adorable!

and the ceremony begins!

Courtney's adorable little brother walked her down the aisle.

the reading of the vows..

then tying the vows and sending them off..
