Mini San Antonio Road Trip

This past weekend, I went on a little venture to San Antonio to see some pals. I stopped a lot along the way because of all the pretty things I wanted to take photos of and my 3 1/2 hour journey ended up taking me 6 hours... On Saturday, we took a trip to Canyon Lake for a little instagram community meet and I was completely blown away with all of its beauty.

To see the photos from other photographers on instagram from the Canyon Lake meet, all you need to do is look under #lakesidemeet :)

*I've also realized from this trip that I need a 35mm more than anything, haha.

All the wildflowers are blooming on the highways, Texas is so pretty in the Spring time.

I was driving nearly 90 mph when this caught my eye on the other side of the highway, it is perhaps what made my trip a lot longer than it should because I kept missing the exit to get to it. Thank God for U-turns.

This is Blu, he has his own hashtag on instagram,#bluofinstagram, he belongs to Renee and accompanied all our adventures this past weekend.

thank you, Shelby Danforth for taking this photo of me!

AFTER my 6 hour drive to see them, I was volunteered to drive to Canyon Lake, they knew what they were in for because I kept stopping along the way. Texas hill country is so beautiful.

It was overcast but hey, that's better than the rain that was suppose to happen. Canyon Lake is HUGE!

So of course, I had my beautiful pal Renee get on the rocks and pose for me. This looks like an ad for the Sorel Out n About boots, they look so good, I think I'm going to get some!

Finally, people at the meet started interacting with us, and our new pal helped boost Shelby into this beautiful tree.

Also, an old pal from high school met up with us here because she goes to school in San Marcos. Hi, Stephanie, you're beautiful!

I also got to meet Alexandra for the first time, we mutually followed each other on social media, but now we're real life pals.

Everyone at the meet LOOOOOVED Blu, I mean who wouldn't.

Decorating dead things with pretty wildflowers.

And that was it! Such fun and adventure this weekend, I'm so happy to be apart of such a wonderful community!
