Alejandra + Michael

I got to shoot the future Henson's traveling/adventure themed engagement and the photos are beautiful. I love being a photographer because you get to know so many amazing people and these two were so awesome. They radiated so much kindness and love, it was truly heart warming.

Here is their love story in Alejandra's words:

"Michael and I met 7 years ago in late March 2008 at a pool party after school. Me, a high-school sophomore and 16, quickly fell for 18 year old Michael Henson and his charm. After a few weeks of Myspace messages and texting, we went and saw our first movie together, Forgetting Sarah Marshall with Michael's best friend, Joe. At the time, Michael was a junior in high-school and not looking for a serious relationship. However, everything changed after we went to the 2008 homecoming together and had a long conservation about 'us' .... Michael then realized that he had to ask me out, and two weeks later, on October 18, we had the most adorable picnic at North Shore Park where he asked me out... and I'm so thankful he did!

Throughout the past six and a half years I don't think that I ever had one big revelation where I knew Michael was "THE ONE". I simply never imagined myself with anyone else. As the  years went by and we started to grow up next to each other, it became more of a reality that we could spend the rest of our lives together. I never wanted to experience anything with anyone besides Michael; he was my best friend and the most loving person I had ever met. I think it was during our first big trip to Europe that it really, really hit me - There was no one else I would rather be lost with in a new city, be stuck at a German airport with after a flight cancellation, have take care of me through motion sickness, or run through a Paris train station with while trying to catch the last train out of the city.

In October, the day before our 7 year anniversary, Michael and I will promise to travel through the rest of our lives together, and I could not be happier!"
